I did start writing a long story a year or so back but it was turning out suspiciously like Douglas Adams' writing... I stopped before it was outright plagarism 
Unfortunately I don't have much time to write now, with a demanding job and girlfriend moving in and stuff. One day I'll get round to it, maybe when I've got some time at work
