Any serious article on this subject needs to address Paul's comments in Romans One that because of their putting their own beliefs ahead of God's inspired word that he has given them over to perform shameful acts. This chapter is used as the basic theological club by most christian homophobes.

You should not accept or believe everything you read, and that comment attributed to Paul is wrong, and if Paul did say it, he knows now that it is wrong and he cannot do anything about it.
The Church has bound the truth and set fear and prejudice free. Well it is upto us to bind fear and prejudice and set truth free.
Every Blessing,

Jesus is the Way , the Truth, and the Life. He is already free.
And He is the ultimate judge of truth (with a lower case). Pilate asked him what is truth? He didn't get a satisfactory answer and I doubt if you will either.

If we love Jesus and follow Him, then we should be the way, the truth and the life also.
shagbark, are you against homosexuals then?
We should never accept homphobia or any other prejudice in Christianity, and anyone who shows blatent phobias towards anyone, need to search the darkness of their own soul and take the plank of fear and prejudice out of their own eye.
Love from Tony.
