due to only a slight confuser glitch, unlike what Shazz is going thru, there was no 'Did I Leave The Iron On ?' regular report in this week's issue.
which could be a good thing, since it wasn't until wednesday night when the boston red rox defeated the noo yawk yankers to win the best-of-seven American League Championship Series four anmes to three.
boston's legendary Fenway Park will host games one and two of the best-of-seven World Series beginning saturday. hosting the winner of the houston astros-st. louis cardinals game seven thursday night.
yanker owner 'king george' stenibrenner, like his counterpart rupert murdoch in his proposed takeover of Manchester United, is expected to spend even more money to purchase the best talent money can buy---which doesn't necessarily produce a championship winner in TEAM sports.

The other Sports columnist on the Post is sporadically here, and may well get a report out next week, it being half-term.
On the other hand, he will have spent the prior weekend at the Birmingham Meet, so maybe not.

ARGHHH!!
You mean we missed an upcoming meet on The Post Announcements page!!! Why did no-one tell us, eh?
It would be quite nice to have another sport blurb from you Master B - but I remember only too well how wrecked a meet can make one feel.
shazz - mentally preparing herself for the Dutch Meet at the end of November...

It was something of a last-minute, hurried Meet.
I am allegedly the Meet organiser, having at some time popped over to Z's PS as expressed words along the lines of "So when are we having another Meet, then?"
