Now, am I the only one who hates having to click "newer posts" 40 times, every time I want to reply to a conversation? Now I know that there were some ridiculous loading times in the old fora, but at least you could load one and go and do something else. I think we should campaign for a return to the old ways. Either that or get the powers that be to put in a new button that links to the newest post.......

Ah, back again, and the discussion is rattling on about something I have thought of ever since the new forum system came into effect.
Before I put in my tuppence, a pint of Guinness, if you please, Menza! Keeps the throat lubricated. Thank you.
Anyway, I agree with you, Zebedee. It can be downright annoying to click through half a dozen pages just to get to the last one. A direct link to the latest post from, well, any page would certainly be helpful.
Now, how do you go about asking for changes like this around here?

You don't, because The People Who Sort That Kind Of Thing Out are already working on it, and have been for some time, and if anyone asks again they're liable to snap and start killing people with a chainsaw...
Popular legend has it that this feature will be introduced next Tuesday. In the meantime if you add &latest=1 on to the end of the URL it will take you straight to the end of the conversation. Thanks, I'll have a now...
