I'm having problems with the links when I want to reply, it takes up to 5 minutes to get from point A to B, I've surfed on the Internet
this morning and I'm getting quick responses but when I come back here it takes a looooong time! I'm trying to get familiar with how the system works but I've accomplished very little in 30 minutes, is there a way that I'm not awhare of that could speed up the process? I'd like to stay on, but time is running out and I don't feel nowhere near where I'd like to get at least learn more about the mechanics of the place!!!!!!! Pleeeeaaaaase, Help!!!!!!!!!!

It's because h2g2 is so popular! 
A huge number of new researchers have descended on h2g2 in the past day or so and the server has been a bit overloaded, but things should be much quicker now - it's not usually that slow, honest!
