As a retired solicitor I get asked all sorts of absurd questions; so I thought that you lot could help me please... I know that for many purposes a limited company can be a 'legal person' but is it a person which can 'enjoy' human rights? i.e. is a limited company entitled to all the rights enshrined in the European Convention on Human Rights as now contained in the Human Rights Act??? This came from an undesrving but know itall acquantance - the sort who gleefully tell you that it is a crime to eat mince pies etc etc

Think the LimiTeD does not enjoy the rights, a company will never be allowed to vote, get a drivers licence or get married . "
