The settings used to be totally complicated, and the references were very easy to use.

goo and alabaster had frames as an option.

Goo works better for me; I don't know if it's the same with other visually impaired folks. It's light type against a darkish background really cuts down on the headaches. Either that, or I'm just an old dyed in the wool Hippie...
