My programming experience consists of a high school course of QBasic, which the lot of the students passed by flirting/bribing the class alpha geek into writing our assignments for us and then holding massive Solitare tournaments.

Cobol? You are a twisted woman my dear Lil. I love it! I was thinking that to *really* the hang of things, machine would be a good language to lear too Alas, all I program are routers and firewalls. I got sick of C in a few minutes. But I think I need to learn it again (And perl) when I get linux up on one of my boxen. Shell scripts are fun right?

As for the geeking talk, me and a friend just tried (and failed) to get hello world to compile on a machine from the dark ages - well 1988 - a motorola VME 68K system runing sysV 68!
Still we should be able to get netBSD running on it
