Indeed Ben, that sounds like a grand idea
Ag, if the heartburn has been troubling you for a while it needs seeing to. Preferably before you end up doing what I did, which is spend several days in hospital and end up on yet another lot of medicine to control the problem.

I know it was St George's day on saturday but what is the significance of the wearing of blue Kerr?

I'll surely see if we can arrange that - once Hati comes around (she's due here this evening 'til tomorrow) it'll make two hootoo toasts

Blue is St. George's traditional colour.
It used to be common to wear blue bells on one's label on the day. These days people seem to wear roses, which means you end up pissing off one side of the other

Good morning.
A toast to Ben's father. If you were anything like your daughter, we regret not having had the pleasure of your company.
Sol, documentaries about WWII in the US are very much propaganda. As a nation, we are rather full of ourselves. I suppose that would be a fair commentary on the English, French, Rusians, Germans, etc. as well. We do give the impression that we won the war by ourselves. Which of course is bunk. Take out any of the players and it would have been a different outcome. Everyone was important.

The letter has come...
And...
My audition was...
Successful! Whoo!
I am now in their chorus and can audition again, if I can face it, for lead roles in future productions. Yay! Treading the boards again.
Too much excitement. Carry on with the discussion.

If you want my personal observation, the European front was ultimately won by a bunch of Polish mathemeticians. Breaking every major cypher the Axis had was the true victory in that war.

The quit is going ok, we'll see how it is when I'm out in the real world again. That's when the cravings are worst.

Hurrah for David! Yes!
Can I have a go hiding under the cushions now? Just for the heck of it? AN dto hide from the ironing?
