I'm in the 30 - 70 range as well, I got a score of 40. Someone recommened The Life of Pi to me too this weekend. I guess I'll have to check it out at.......the public library!
Three cheers for our public libraries!
Hypatia, you can give me a homemade apple pie later as payment for my plug.

*wonders how to explain the differences between fur and patent leather to Z, and decides that if - as a broadminded bloke - he can't work them out for himself, then there isn't much point in trying!*
It didn't half take some effort getting hold of anti-moth things though. I was looking for herbal sachets, but could only find some truly vile smelling chemical things. They will have to do until I can find the herby sachets.
Yes, Titania, I always find the insides of toilet cisterns oddly disturbing.

95 on the quiz
You’re bold as brass and brave as a lion, but not such a messy pup. You might be prepared to cope with being an Arming squire with its potential for you becoming a knight, but you’re actually ideally suited to some of the high-risk worst jobs such as Topman, Powder monkey, fish-fingered Viking sailor/warrior, outnumbered Riding officer, Petardier's assistant or even Guillemot-egg collector.
Yeah!!!
Oooh, water skiing sounds pretty good about now WM. I more of a sailor, but I could adjust to the motorized world. Thanks all for the great offers! I've decided to stay in school, rather than jump into the high profile/high money world of housework.

I love the library, I visit the Salt Lake Library a couple of times a month.

*hummmm* well yes, a certain club in Birmingham (with the same name as Teuchter employers) doesn't have a dress code of 'fur, rubber and fetish'

I now know last quarter's expenses are not one of the oak chests. I guess I need to check the filing really thoroughly, and then tackle the other oak chest.
*sigh*

Hmm, Area 51 in Salt Lake does a monthly fetish night. It is actually quite fun.

I guess it doesn't surprise me that people don't use the research section of public library. I can't see people doing a research project for "fun". Maybe the libraries should start offering some kind of class or instruction on how to use the research section for "fun". Like for example, how to learn more about a hobby.
Maybe that's what's wrong with americans. We don't have hobbies anymore.

Not true hobbies like model building, etc.

I scored 45. I think that's good enough for a natural born procrastinator.

I got 95 as well..............so Dave had better come and be my wife, since we seem to have similar standards
I prefer to be working, rather than full-time at home. In the past, when I've found myself in that situation, I tend to turn into Mrs Angry and phone the council at every opporchancity to complain about daft things
We had a brilliant laugh at the staff meeting this morning. A few months ago, our chief-exec sent us each a Mars bar to reward us for all the effort we'd put into trying to make this business work. Where's the smiley for astonished incredulity when you want it?
This morning, we all decided it was time to send them back, individually wrapped and addressed.
Now, 54 units each employing at least 12 people adds up to a lot of
Puerile I know, but we laughed like drains for several minutes - which was very therapeutic.

I think covers it. A MARS BAR????????
Have found my expenses.
I had put them into an A4 envelope which had originally been addressed to the Stepson, so it had got swept up into his filing. It / They would have been packed up over the weekend and gone to the other side of the frigging world with him! Thanks be to the goddess that I found them. I have put them in date order but not reconciled them against the bank accounts. I think I will leave that to the accountant, unless I have a spare couple of hours before I take it all over to her.
That is a weight of my mind, to be honest.

Even partial hobbies would be good GDZ...what do american's do for fun, besides watching TV? Play video games? Hey, I love TV and video games too, but I get restless after awhile. I mean really, I'm drawing a complete blank here. Some people are in sports leagues. I don't remember my parents, or any of my friends parents having hobbies, except for 1 guy who was into cars.

Cars make for a good hobby, if you are into them. I can't really say that I have a hobby unless you count playing around with computer hardware and I don't do that often enough for it to count.

Hey I'm one o dem dere Umuurricans. I done gots lots o hobbys.
Actually, I do. Bowling, reading, collecting stuff (anime, anime figures, computers, books, knives etc.), r/c cars, video games, film viewing... I don't think that hobbies are dead, but they have certainly changed.

I think that counts GDZ - also your Dr Demento tape collection. You shouldn't have to put regular time into a hobby (then it would be a job).

Yeah, I guess novelty music would be a hobby and I am big into novelty music, just ask Marv.

Well, I'm glad but unsurprised that the salonistas have hobbies. I just wonder about the "regular people", the people I knew growing up. They probably did too I guess, just need to think about it a little.
Marv, is this true? Does GDZ really collect music? I'm not sure I'm buying this
What we need is a way to make research fun and accessible. What about a prize contest, best research paper wins $50?
