Please don't take this too personaly but you SUCK! Big time! You clearly have no idea what the point of emo really is. Don't believe in the stereotypes. Emo is short for emotional or emotive. It's a type of music not just a type of person. It takes great talent to get real, powerful emotion into a song, such that it actually moves the listener. It's inspiring. Have you ever listened to any emo? Try listening to My Chemical Romance, they're lyrics are like poetry. Then try listening to Dashboard Confessional. They sound completely different. They're cheerful but it's still emo because this guy is just pouring his heart out. It's not all about being depressing. Try listening before you judge.

I totally agree!!! Just coz some peeps get over depressed people assume all depressed peeps or sad peeps are emos. EMOtional.
