Peta's Picks are:
Community pages, entries that are very popular, but which are unlikely to be submitted or approved, such as virtual locations, like Frinks drinks or the h2g2 beach. Cool places to hang out and chat rather than *informative* entries. - Although you can learn a lot hanging out in either of the above places too I also link to Researchers home pages, if they've thought of a great idea, which they want to encourage others to contribute to, something which might later be submitted as an an approved entry - I give these things a bit of publicity...
Peta's picks are, sometimes, pages which are approved, which people might like to discuss or add to. People often can contribute so much more to an approved entry and we like to encourage people to update and amend...

How about calling it:

Which is the sort of thing people say before they ask the time, or for directions, or for a four letter word for a 'table shaped hill'. It's a conversation starter with someone you've never met. It's an opening.

Perhaps it's because I just ate a Belgian waffle and I'm looking at a box of Belgian waffles, but at the moment 'Belgium' seems sorta cool...I don't offer it as a serious suggestion, though, b/c I suspect under normal circumstances I would find it not at all clever, and it could be a bit confusing (as it is a real place as well).
So. (trying to think of something punny.)
