Walking with a donkey

To make a very long story very short.
First I'll buy me a caravan, close to my painting studio (not professional), and very close bye I discovered in 2007 that there is a "care centre" for donkeys that had too much to suffer in their lives.
I got to know the peoples who take care and they would certainly approve if I would take one of the donkies and made a long walk in the forest. More peoples do that.
For me, it would be a (childs)dream come true and I hope I won't spoil my own cherished dream.

Hey Alfredo
I cant think of anything better than a long walk in a forest with a donkey as company. You will notice details you would probably have missed just by watching what the donkey is interested in. I think I'd let the donkey lead, as they are wise animals, and will seek out therapeutic locations if they have had a rough life. I dont understand how anyone can be cruel to animals the way some people are. It makes me ashamed to be a human sometimes.
Surely it is time for people to take notice that sentient beings deserve our respect. They are not some kind of machine but beings with emotions, social networks etc, and they deserve to be considered as such. Humans are so good at lying to themselves for convenience! You only need to look into the eyes of a donkey, horse, parrot or similar creature to see the intelligence and awareness there.
Enjoy your walk!

Thanks !
they are intelligent and when they suddenly stop walking (crossing a river) it is that they figure out how to cross it as soon as possible.
And they can be very self willed, and I like that ! And animal that suddenly refuses to walk!
One donkey has given birth to 37 baby donkies !!! What a shame that people used her as a breeding machine.
But there's one "small problem" with walking with donkies - as the chief of the farm told me;"when they go for a walk in the fields sometimes they suddenly stop. most of the times it's because people are too sweet and because of that feel a lack of authority
