Bel you might be interested that if you use Firefox as your Browser, it includes a spell checker. When you view an entry in GuideML mode (replacing the A in the A-number by 'test') you see all the spelling errors underlined in red - fix 'em as you go.
On the down-side though, some of the GuideML editing buttons don't work properly. 
I edit with IE7 and spellcheck with Firefox.
