A Conversation for How to Handle Awkward Questions

I'm Rubbish at this Kind of Thing

Mr. Dreadful - But really I'm not actually your friend, but I am...

I'm never able to handle awkward questions... I tend to umm and ahh until the person asking goes to find somebosy else. I'm also unable to ask awkward questions without stumbling, unless I'm LARPing in which case I'm usually acting drunk and shouting a lot.

I'm the world's worst diplomat.
Item: ongoing argument with a colleage in a previous job. She had questioned my ability to to the job and was generally 'out to get me' (sneaking to the boss about petty things, etc.) instead of handling it calmly and/or calling in someone else to mediate I sent an e-mail which questioned her intelligence & mental stablility and I made myself out to have alot more clout and authority than I actually did. The e-mail made her cry and I got put on disciplinary soon after. It was the worst thing I'd ever done to anybody and I still feel bad about it.

But at least I found the limit as to how rude you can be and still keep your job.

Vestboy

That's the problem with emails. They seem such a good idea in the split second it takes to write and send them. Now if you had to go to the post office to buy a stamp and an envelope...
