Flowers

You sent me flowers pretty and small

The stems and the petals are pretty and tall

There sitting here little yet large

I love them so the room they do charge

With colour life and happiness

Without them it would be such a mess


Thank-you so for your gift

It was just so kind

I have arranged them so

They look pretty from behind


Your cure for sending them to me

I love them so it's easy just to see

It's pretty now for them to be

I guess it's nice you sent them here

I know alas to know no fear


There here now next to where I sit

Happy that you did your bit

The blooms are open they smell so sweet,

Thank you cutie for this treat
