well i was just thinking... i mean each of us have people on our friends lists... and there are bound to be different people. and everytime we make a journal entry it goes to all those people. so maybe for starters we could send out some kind of invitation to join... maybe we could even type it up so no one had to go to too much trouble... just cut and paste...
...just a thought... what do you think?

i wouldnt mind doing it at all... however i think some people may be adverse to it.
... so maybe as an optional voulenteer kind of thingy? ....or maybe not at all... it was just an idea.... and it doesnt have to be used... i'm just looking for input, and ideas....

yes, I'm a bit uneasy about it although I'm not sure theres a good reason for feeling so

i know. i was feeling a little odd about it myself. thats why i asked what you thought.
... i think maybe its a little like imposed advertising.... trick people into thinking they're about to read a journal entry of a friends, and then it turns out to be an add...

yes, I think somewhere theres a guide on how to promote any clubs you set up and it said don't spam conversations but find a natural way to mention it a convo
maybe thats how it should be done in a journal entry too

Ok If we can't find a bard we'll have to make one. How about a Frankenstein sea shanty?
*picks up concertina and starts to play*
You have to give the next line of the song and we'll all join in at the chorus.
*Takes a deep breath*
Oh as we were sailing the seven seas
