All you need to do over the next few weeks is come up with a funny, original caption for the
featured pictures taken at the recent Unofficial London Summer Meet 2004. The authors of the
winning caption and two runners up for each week the competition runs will have their names and
winning captions printed the following week in The Post.
Rules and Regulations
- Please post your entries only in the relevant Caption Competition thread which, for this
week, can be found here
- There will be one winner for each week the competition runs and two runners
- Please observe all the general rules and regulations of the site and the BBC
- Entries will be judged on the Wednesday following the close of each weekly competition and the
decision will be final and unchangeable
Last week's picture gave us many amusing captions to mull
over and The Post Team were very hard pressed to come up with a favourite. But like all good
judges we came to a decision:
The Winner is...'Budgets cuts meant that the monsters for the new Dr Who were less than impressive. Though
they were still quite scary, none the less.'
The two runners up are...'Justin: Look, I *told* you about the Dalmatians. I don't *need* another coat. And spots do
nothing for me.'
'While The Capped Crusader struggles to unfold his new crime-fighting costume, the Fiddler
tiptoes unnoticed from the scene.'
Well done to all three of you and sorry for all those who just missed out, why not give this weeks
competition a try it looks like fun.
