I thought I;d add this in here as it's worked for us, our junk mail and nusiance calls have dropped off to nothing in the past two months ever since we joined up. It's an official thingo and well worth it.
To prevent the continual replacement of slammed down telephone recievers register the Telephone Preference Service at http://www.mpsonline.org.uk in the TPS section.
To save yourself from burning 80% of your mail register with Mail Preference Service at http://www.mpsonline.org.uk in the MPS section.
Hope it helps a few people with unwanted garbage in their lives
