I've heard of artemis Fowl, but have never read any of the bookms, so can't comment on your content. However, the title you chose is misleading, because I expected this to be an entry about Eoin Colfer, and it is about his books. I suggest you chanfge it to something like: The Artemis Fowl series and other books by Eoin Colfer - or something more elegant, but you'll have to mention it is about the books, not the author.

This is a very good Entry, particularly for a first attempt! There are a few spelling mistakes, but we'll come to those later on
The only thing I'd say is that right at the bottom you say:
'All of Eoin Colfers books are well written and well worth a read, the reviews here are only brief and the plots contain a lot more than I have written about because I don't want to ruin the suprise.'
You need to rewrite this little bit so that you're not giving your personal opinion and not using the word 'I' - we only use the first person in very, very rare cases.
Well done!

I would suggest that you focus this on either "Artemis Fowl - The Books" or "The Books of Eoin Colfer" (nearly typed boobs then...)
A couple of points.
Why not talk a little about the characters? Arty, Butler, Foaly, Mulch, Holly and Root certainly could all fill a paragraph each, and probably Mrs Fowl and Opal Koboi. You could also mention certain groups, like the Special Squad with the Kelp brothers in it, and the groups of goblins.
The reviews of the plots could be extended as they are quite brief.
Some of the footnotes could be incorporated into the text - for example, where you refer to Artemis as a teenager, you could say "twelve-year-old boy Artemis Fowl". If you do a section on characters then some of the footnotes would not be needed.
If you do want to make the entry about Eoin Colfer as well as his works, try giving a little information about him. Where's he from, that sort of thing.
Here are the typos I've seen, but I'm sure I've missed some.
succesful -> successful
Supernaturlist -> Supernaturalist
landscae -> landscape
Russin -> Russian
soruces -> sources
faires -> fairies (a few times)
convinve -> convince
Supernturalsit -> Supernaturalist
shes -> she's
agaisnt -> against
orpahns and oprhan -> orphan(s)
It's a great entry with a lot of potential I can't wait to see it in the guide!

The trouble is, there is already an Entry about the books of Eoin Colfer in the Guide, at A994791.

Though it must be said that when I wrote that entry, Colfer had only written two of the Artemis Fowl books, so it could probably do with an update. But looking at it, most of the text is probably fine, seeing as it serves as an introduction to the books, and I purposely steered away from plot developments at the time, but the paragraph at the end is definately dated. Seeing as it looks forward to the third book, and all.
I'm sure Colfer has written more books than this entry lists, though.
Yep - besides the AF books, Colfer's site (http://www.eoincolfer.com/books/) lists:
-Half Moon Investigations
-The Supernaturalist
-The Wishlist
-Benny and Omar
-Benny and Babe
-The Legend of Captain Crow's Teeth
-The Legend of Spud Murphy
-The Legend of the Worst Boy in the World
Only two of which are dealt with in this entry. So if this entry intends to be exhaustive list of books, more work is necessary.

Hi Pingu
I don't want you to feel too overwhelmed (this being your first entry and all) but I would like to see something before the books are mentioned about where, when Coifer was born, education and influences if you can find out about them. That sort of thing.

Hi Pingu,
This is a good first entry and I'm very glad to see you in PR. As has been pointed out, though, a lot of what you talk about here has already been covered in another entry.
So - how do you feel about doing some research on the man himself?

Jsut a few quick questions:
Do I need to write any more about Eoin himslef?
Whereabouts should I put the info on teh cahracters (Foaly, Mulch etc) before or after the plots?
How in depth should the plots be?

Possibly and it would be rather nice to have some background on the author (he seems like a good egg - I saw an interview with him a while ago)
Info on the main charactures should be before the plot synopses.
Plot synopses should give a little more info, but not the outcomes (unless you give a spoiler warning at the beggining)
Hope that helps

There's still nothing on Benny and Omar, which, I believe, was the first book Eoin wrote. Or at least, the first book he wrote which anyone has heard of.
And there was a sequel book - Benny and the Babe - it could be argued that this was the first series he wrote, though Artemis Fowl has come to dominate his career somewhat.

Oh, was Benny and Omar by Eoin Colfer too? I'd forgotten that. I've read that and the first of the Artemis Fowl books. Both brilliant, but I hadn't realised they were by the same author. Must read the sequels to both.
