Hmm... you were nearly an hour late, Yakus.
What happened this week? Did you forget that were still in British Summer Time
I'll shall decide upon your punishment later...

Well, that's what I call a good day on planet . My rate still hasn't returned to normal after listening to a radio commentary on Tranmere 4, Bradford 5. City are now third, which shows how good I really am at predictions - I said we'd probably be relegated. My second team (Orient) have gone top of League Two after thumping Shrewsbury 4-1, and my third team (Guiseley) beat Blyth 2-0 to keep up a UniBond Premier promotion challenge.
And I don't think I've done badly at Fantasy Football today either.

Yes, the Bradford result was most impressive. Obviously indicative of a crap defence on both sides
And you right Ormy, you have done rather well this week. Provisional results show that you've not won it, but that you are ahead of the pack.

Blasted last-minute goals.
The Iron have lost twice this season, both times 3-2 to an injury-time goal.

The first thing to say this week is that I'm having some rather nasty PC problems. Something is going wrong with the interface between the PC and the display. The net result is that certain applications will not display properly on the screen. Excel is one of them, so I won't be able to complete the list of exactly how everyone got their points. Sorry
So to the games this week.
Overall it was a pretty average sort of a week. A couple of players did very well, a couple more did very badly, and everyone else is pretty much as you were.
The poor players at least in terms of table position were Otto, sprout and myself who have all dropped down the table. The good players were Number Six and Ormondroyd who have both leapt several places up the table.
The other notable was that Egon has been missing for a second week, and what's more was joined in his absence by Otto Fisch. This is a worrying development as they are two out of only four players who have been here since season 1
So to our winner. Stand up Number Six, the break seems to have done you good, and now you've won a week with a mightily impressive 13 points
--------------
The Games:
Fulham 2-4 Liverpool (BOA MORTE, Knight, Baros, Alonso, Biscan)
West Brom 0-0 Norwich (--)
Blackburn 0-4 Middlesborough (HASSELBAINK, Boateng)
QPR 1-0 West Ham (ROSE)
Cardiff City 2-0 Rotherham (THORNE)
--------------
The Points:
Number Six - 13 points
Ormondroyd - 10 points
riotact, me[Andy]g, Bottletop, Yakusmaximus - 8 points
Owlatron, WILD BIRIYANI (stop changing your name, boy ) - 7 points
Psycorp, McKay the Disorganised - 6 points
Demon Drawer, Master B, sprout, Alfredo Marquez, Bubba Fretts - 4 points
GreyDesk, Tobbot - 2 points
summerbayexile - all
Egon, Otto Fisch, spook & creachy - AWOL

Firstly I'd like to thank Gd for letting me put in with a very late entry, especially as i didn't fare too bad.
Also i was looking at the previous seasons of FF and noticed that they varied in length. Why is this and when will this season finish.
Some high scoring games today, can't wait for MOTD today, epsecially with the mighty Reds coming from two down to win, with ten men as well, didn't now they still had it in him. Lawro had them to lose so i was particularly pleased, he's a tad smug on Football focus every week about how well he's done the previous. He should enter this comp, i wonder how he'd get on?

Oh b*ll*cks
Yes you're absolutely right, I have missed you off. I'm really sorry
From my notes you got 4 points this week, which I believe lifts you one place in the table. That being the table that I am now about to edit with the correction...

OK Iamnezzy. Job done
Yakus - the usual set up is that compaetition runs from the start of the Premiership season to some time in early December. Then from early January to the end of the Premiership season for the next competition. I haven't decided for sure which weekend will be the end / start this year. But you can be assured I will let you all know in good time
As for another short competition running through the Conference/League/'Championship' play-offs. Again I haven't made up my mind as to whether to run it or not. Which of course if one looks at what I've said about that in the past means that it is definitely on
But I will state here and now that there will be NO summer competition running around the more obscure leagues of Scandinavia, Oceania and the Americas. That one summer I ran such a competition was such a nightmare that I still to this day get cold sweats about it

any chance of getting a continental fixture in now and then?
since the tendancy is now only three premiership matches in the five, one championship fixture and one european would make a nice mixed bag imho.
