Blocking one entry?

I like the idea, but some of the entries I start aren't fit to be read yet, or might be (relatively) private. Maybe when people create entries there could be an option to keep it from being subscribed to, similar to the Not for Review option.

Right now it's all or nothing, I'm afraid. I think we considered a 'work in progress' button on entries, but there were a lot of features like that that weren't scheduled in the first stream of work. And any such article would be public anyway, and would already be visible on your personal space. If you really want an entry to stay invisible to other users, you can cancel it and it won't be visible to anyone. You can't edit it which it's cancelled, but you can uncancel, make a change, then cancel it again.
Or you could just stick a message on the top saying it's a work in progress, as I can't think of many scenarios where it's necessary to keep an entry private until it's finished.

'Blocking all users' can not be undone, each user has to subscribe individually again, as far as I have seen.

This is going to sound really unfriendly, I know, but you should just be glad you don't know me in RL :
Most of the entries I write are (eventually) intended for the EG. However, some of them, I write for myself or for my close friends. Sure, anyone *could* read them, but I'd prefer to remain in ignorance about that. I avoid writing journal entries because random strangers add me to their friends list and comment on my journal (I know, unfriendliness coming through). If I had to choose between everyone and his dog subscribing to all my entries, or no one at all subscribing to any of them, I'd rather block everyone, so just those who are genuinely interested can access them through my space or subscribe to individual entries.
I guess I'm in the minority here, which is fine, I'm used to it I don't mind blocking everyone (no offense, seriously). I just thought I should make my POV known.

It need only be another checkbox option alongside the "not for review" one when you create the entry. Eg "not for broadcast". However, it would probably need to be hidden on subsequent edits since, once done, broadcasting can never be undone.
