You'd think at least Scott and Virgil would talk about Mrs. Tracy somewhat.

Why?

They're both old enough to remeber her for a start.

I'm old enough to remember TV:AM, doesn't mean I bring it up often.

But that isn't as important as your dead parent.

Well the opportunity to mention her didn't crop up did it?

And John was the second oldest, so he'd be more likely to remember her than Virgil...

Wasn't aware the fate of Momma Tracy was even mentioned in the TV series... don't recall it, and I've seen 'em all numerous times. I hope we're not considering the movie canonical?

Oh, only that she died in some accident or other and that this was what motivated Jeff to risk the lives of the rest of his friends and family on a regular basis in order to spare others the heartbreak (I paraphrase a bit).

Ahhh. I would have thought it would have been terrorists. That's the American flavour of the month at the moment. Even on Becker.

No, terrorism (except where slapheads with funny eyes and a wide selection of duff dusguises are concerned) does not exist in either version of Thunderbirds.

Or, to put it another way, in Thunderbirds Americans are not imperilled by other nations, only by their own inability to build a skyscraper/nuclear airliner/bridge/space rocket that works properly.

Fair enoughski, I suppose American incompetence is fairly dangerous.

I've found out what happened to the Virgil Tracy puppet after they stopped making the TV series. Apparently it works for the beeb on Match of the Day.
