Milos-More of a...dizzy...feeling. Like nausea. ...and a strong desire to head...somewhere.

Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Dec 1, 2007
Hmm. Anywhere in particular?
[A thought cloud appears over his head, imperceptible in-character unless you have Superb mind-reading skills:]

Close enough to count, but too far away to win the prize, Yar.
*Milos follows Yar away from Kudos*
Milos-Something in my gut tells me that I've got to get away from that alien before I do something rash.

Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Dec 1, 2007
Heh heh heh ... It wouldn't even have occured to me if ... er ... Yar hadn't been reading that part of the wiki shortly before ... going on this adventure.
[Yar nods] Knowing him, I can certainly understand that. But anyway, now that we're back on Earth, is there anywhere in particular you'd like to go in general?

Afgncaap5 Posted Dec 3, 2007
Milos-Well, I'm not sure...I don't know if any of my friends or family would still be alive, but I should check on that. They lived in-
*A Krylma Scuttler flies in, low, and hovers over them (well, not *directly* over them, but close enough for the Gecko Warrior who opens the side door and looks out to be heard*
GW-Pardon me, but the glorious Krylma Empire has need of that fellow with the bizarre breathing device for a few moments!

Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Dec 3, 2007
[looks the Gecko Warrior up and down a bit, sticking his hand into his pocket] Okay, but can I tag along? I'm sort of acting as this guy's unofficial bodyguard at the moment.

Afgncaap5 Posted Dec 3, 2007
*The GW holds up a hand in a "hold that thought" gesture, closes the door, and goes in to confer with some people. The door opens again and the GW sticks his head out*
GW-Um, you can come, but you'd have to meet the qualifications for being either "a captive" or "in danger." That means we can either put you in the seat with the seat belt that only Larry knows how to unfasten, or you can't have a seatbelt at all.
Oh, and letting you go afterwards might involve a fight scene.

Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Dec 4, 2007
Hmmm ...
Dillema: choice 1: take the safe, sensible option which implies that you've actually seen a single action movie or partook in an H2G2 adventure before, and have absolutely none of this. Choice 2: deliberately place yourself in danger, with a heavily-implied chance of greater danger in the future, just so I can find out something which I'll probably find out fifteen minutes later anyway, and which will probably involve a direct head-to-head confrontation with KL and a large number of his minions.
...
Oh, who said I was the least bit sensible?
Suits me fine! I'll take the "in danger" option, with no seatbelts.
So the Krylma Empire wants to meet this Milos Triton guy badly enough to come all the way here, eh? What do you think, Milos?
Celandine City
Afgncaap5 Posted Dec 4, 2007
Milos-I think...I don't know. I feel strange looking at them. Like I felt looking at the alien.
GW-We don't really need to meet with him. We just need to interact with him.
*Some tractor beams activate and latch onto both Yar and Milos. Milos is pulled into the Scuttler and seatbelted. The tractor beam holds onto Yar outside the ship, and turns in a direction towards STUMPED Stadium*

[to Milos, before they leave] Ah, you mean like you sorta recognized him, too? [playfully punches his arm]
[to the Gecko Warrior] Duly noted!
[Once the Scuttler takes off, Yar folds his hands behind his head, positioning himself as if he was sitting back in a recliner.]

Afgncaap5 Posted Dec 6, 2007
*Milos blinks at Yar's comment, confused*
Milos-No, it doesn't seem like recognition at all, to be honest...
Celandine City
Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Dec 6, 2007
[Yar and Milos, however, are now on opposite sides of the Scuttler's exterior hull, and trying to retcon the rest of their conversation back before liftoff will probably only cause confusion, so let's just fast forward a bit.]
