Bar Oz in Bristol

2 Conversations

Bar Oz is one of the better theme pubs in Bristol, situated just off Corn Street on Small Street, it's actually opposite the Crown Courts, so you can watch barristers and plaintiffs wander in and out in varying emotional states, depending on how their cases are going.

As far as its theme goes, that's restricted to the decor, the signs to Adelaide et al, and a plain and refreshingly uncomplicated food menu of 'Aussie-style tucker'.

Good Things About Bar Oz in Bristol

  • The atmosphere is very relaxed.
  • The beer is as cheap as anywhere else in the centre of Bristol.
  • The food is very good - especially check out the burgers (if you're a carnivore), or the vege-pouches (if you're not). Everyone will love the curly fries.
  • They have a couple of TVs and a roll-up projection screen showing all-day sports and major sports events.

Bad Things About Bar Oz in Bristol

  • When they are busy, they are very busy.
  • When they are quiet, it can take forever for your food to arrive.
  • They have a couple of TVs and a roll-up projection screen showing all-day sports and major sports events.
