I'm shocked you don't know!
Oolon Colluphid is mentioned in The Hitch-Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy as author of the philosophical blockbusters Where God Went Wrong, Some More Of Gods Greatest Mistakes, and Who Is This God Person Anyway?
I came up with the law (so far as I'm aware), and dedicated it to Mr Colluphid.

Judging from my observations and notes taken whilst lurking in various fora (or forums), I think you could be on to something. There definitely seems to be a strong tendency to drift in that direction
