Unfortunate. I think that mentioning a team in MMI is pretty much a cast iron way of having a team knocked out of a competition.
I sure hope TIM HENMAN wins....

I really hate him just for that "Henman Hill" they set up full of simpering upper class middle aged women in their posh frocks shouting "Cahm ahn Toigah Timm!"
"Come on Tiger Tim" of "We're going to thrash the oiks! Raa raa raa!"

I was especially happy that henman lost as
a) I'd offered to write a grovelling apology in the Post if he did, as my old column used to include an average of one dig per grand slam tournament about how he'd never win one
b) We might actually see Federer and Roddick get some coverage in the papers now- they *are* the two best players in the world you know
c) I get more of Maria Sharapova in the papers
d) I had money on Ancic.

Apologising to Henman?
*shudder*
I really can't stand tennis, and I'm pretty sure it's mostly his fault.

I do get very irritated by what they call "people's sunday"
Fortunately I was in Gateshead watching a British sportsperson whoi genuinely wins stuff. Woman by the name of Radcliffe, lapped the rest of the field in the 10k and won by 75 seconds, lapping the poor hapless portugese girl in last place three times.
Key: Complain about this post
