ATR are no more, sadly. Carl Crack is dead.
However I saw Alec Empire in the evening session tent at Leeds festival 2002 and he sounded absolutely brutal. Had to crowd surf out of the moshpit. He had two drummers, a guitarist and Nic Endo. What a man. His new album sounds more metal than his old stuff as well.

It looks like ATR might not be splitting up after all as the surviving members have decided to get together in 2003 to talk about the situation. Don't give up hope!
