This is one of those stupid weeks during which half the population of the planet is doing their best to convince me that I was right in my original estimation, back 25 years ago when I was 17, thinking that while I might not be the sharpest cookie in the china shop, there were definitely a lot of people, a whole lot of people, who would have to work to become triumphantly dull! I may be acompetent, but at least I know it and try to minimize the damage. Others, it seems, many others, many many others, not only don't care, but don't seem to realize that it may matter to someone anywhere. Pfui! Pleh!
