David Eddings excelled when he created the Belgariad, the characters are life like and the books can be read in a couple of days each. David Eddings has continued the Series with the Mallorean another series of five books featuring Garion and friends but set five years after the events in the Belgariad. There are also two prequels to the series written By David and Leigh Eddings.
