I suspect half of them were mine smiley - laugh

Just had another piece of that apple cake, I'd frozen the rest and promptly forgotten about it.

Which gave me an idea. It may be too early in the year for such ideas, but here goes anyway...

You must by now know the great German tradition of baking Plätzchen for Christmas. And I always bake a lot of them, at least half a dozen different kinds. I'm sure you all have great recipes, too. So perhaps we can initiate a Hootoo Christmas Cookie Swap of some sort? Either just meet up and exchange some then (and sample a lot more smiley - winkeye) or mail packages around to fellow hootooers? smiley - laugh A bit silly, maybe, but it could work...
