Summer Haiku
Part 1
'It's time again for me to share some special poetry with you. I've been so caught up
in such a plethora of events, it took a while to bring these little gems together. There's a feeling that
accompanies this season that holds many memories for me. I hope some of that translates from the
Haiku below.'
Yellow, orange, red
Clouds tinged purple and blue
In a June sunset
Cool dappled darkness
Below oak boughs above thick moss
Sheltered from the sun
Cold blue dampens sound
Dull thump of heart drifts away
On waves under water
Scintillating fount
Breaking through pane of water
Flings droplets afar
Blue-Eyed BiPedal BookWorm from Betelgeuse
