it is also common practice for a starting card to be called the first round... for example... the 3 of clubs... so that the person with the 3 of clubs leads the first game... then the a*****e leads the rest of the games.
also... if there is a run in sequence... example.. first play lays a 4, then the second player lays a 5, then the thrid a 6... each player gets to discard a card... also works with doubles and tripples... just discarding the number of cards played
