Since my baby left me,
My heart's a broken link,
My whole life's one big "Error" page,
I've turned to virtual drink. 
My counter ain't been hit since I don't know when,
I've got them Virtual Blues again.

I do think hexameters can fit for a blues song, simply by considering two lines at the time to build a complete alexandrin, which after all was the first phrase used by bluesmen in the early 1910 ( eg Leadbelly).

I can offer you either a virtual blue electric guitar, like the one towards the bottom of my homepage - or, if you think it'd be more rootsy, I can do you a virtual acoustic guitar on a blue background!

I think we may have to start Virtual Blues II, at 20 verses this one is getting pretty long. I might use Cresent's original verse for The Microsoft Blues. Whaddya think?

Yeah to VBII but my Doughnuts verse wouldn't tranfer easily to a Microsoft Blues though now would it.

since I drank some at the keyboard
my laptop's gone away
it didn't like the taste of my beer
and now I have to pay
cos I can't get to my threads
