Paul Weller's "You do something to me" makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up in a delicious way.
KD Lang's "Constant Craving"
The tenors' duet from The Pearlfishers - apparently the only good tune in the whole damn opera.
And I have to agree with Jimster's friend about INXS "Need you tonight"
Also a lot of stuff by Chicago, Robert Palmer, Moody Blues.

A bass drum pounding out a rhythm, a bass guitar accompanying...a quick rattle of the drums, and a big *twang* on the topmost bass string...

Massive Attack, "Better Things".
OK its about the end of a one sided relationship but ignore the lyrics and just listen to Tracey Thorns voice. If they ever need some one to sing the siren's song in a version of Ulesys it couldn't be done better by anyone else. The basseline works on a sublime level, you dont so much as hear it but feel the effects it has on your spine which it causes to be horizontal the arms start to wrap around the person next to you and the leg starts to come up and over.
Which can be very embarrasing on the train even if you do know the person next to you.
