Good entry, I just wondered whether you thought it was worth mentioning the Janneken Pis (you may not even have heard of it).

It's not far from the Manneken Pis but it's hidden down a side street which comes to a dead end. It's even smaller than the boy and it's in a hole in the wall with bars over the front. The statue itself is of a naked girl squatting which, for some reason doesn't seem quite as 'cute' as the boy and many would call it 'vulgar'. Needless to say she doesn't have any costumes or postcards.

Could this be representative of the sexism in our society or is it just a crap statue?

The version you looked at then was the old version - I want to improve it, talk about some things that are not urinating statues! I've put the Janneken pis in though - if nothing else, it's a challenge to find it.
