Well, yeah, but have you ever learnt mandarin before?
Actually, teaching all this stuff is great, I'm teaching you all the stuff we learnt in year 7 and haven't looked at since, I'd forgotten all this stuff. (Well, not all of it, so far almost everythign I've taught you I've remembered, but the stuff I'm about to do I haven't used in 2 years)

I've never learnt any mandarin. at school we picked up bits of cantonese because we had lots of chinese students and they taught us dirty songs etc. but mandarin was thin on the ground.
This is partly what I love about doing these things. Im going over things I havent looked at for years and finding such HUGE gaps in my vocabulary for German and my french is amusing me no end!

When I went to interview for a job, someone told me" If you work in mainland China,you will get this job." but I refuse it. so, I lost the job.
