No I haven't seen the one about woman, I don't agree with the stuff in this one about sport; I hate sport..

I don't mind the cricket, but then you can switch it on, watch for a few minutes and then return 5 hours later to see what's happening. I quite like snooker too, same situation really. When I was in halls I used to watch snooker on a black and white telly, it turned the programme into a kind of competition, guess which ball's which. My friend and I used to have "girls' nights in". A couple of packs of bitter and watch the snooker! I'm not really that keen on sport though and I certainly can't understand why some people get so obsessed with it, but then I have pretty strange obsessions some would say. The women's page is http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A269453 I would like to take the author of that page out for a pint and introduce them to some REAL women.

Cricket is aout one of the only sports I will watch; unlike most (other) men, I hate and detest football... Black and white pool viewing sounds like fun,,

Would Black & white pool present any problems? I thought in America that they had striped v. plain balls. Have you ever played snooker - much better than pool.

You 2 may jest, but I used to watch the snooker on my little black and white set and half the fun was guessing which ball was which. It's strange really coz I don't watch the snooker very much any more, it's just not the same in colour.

I'm glad you detest football, there are obviously some sane men left in this world.

Ah - but do you mean Football, or American Rugby?
I've never played the American thing they call football, and I dislike watching both Rugby and Football on television - but they can be fun to play in real life. Provided it's a pleasant 5-minute kick-around with some friends - if you take it more serious, you lose all the fun!

As for the Women joke article - that one was originally e-mailed to a friend of mine who put it up. Who wrote it originally I've no idea.
What in particular do you disagree with in it?

By football I mean soccer, of course. From a woman's point of view Rugby is much better to watch because the men have better thighs.

When I consider the woman article I suppose I have to disgree with all 50 points on the grounds that if they're all true then I'm obviously not a woman. I especially object to point 14: "Women think all beer is the same". Personally, I think all lager is synthetic muck BUT I can definitely appreciate the many and varied real s that are available.

If you really want to know my views on any of the other comments then I'd tell you. I do, however, agree with a lot of the men's list. I would seriously love to be able to pee anywhere and not have to queue for the ladies.

That's the wonderful thing about humanity. Think of any possible combination of character flaws, vices, weaknesses and obsessions, and there's someone in the world like it.
