Formatting table cell width
Recumbentman Started conversation Oct 4, 2003
In A1012230 - Sol-fa: the key to the riddle of staff notation I used repeatedly to make cells a reasonable width (not to have table elements squashed too close).
Gnomon criticised this, and I agree. There must be a better way, but I can't find it in the GuideML Clinic. Any pointers?

Hello Recumbent.
You could try copying my entry A1299954, then adapt it. No guarantees on what the page contains, other than the handy links at the top.
Does this help?

This is not officially Guide-ML, but it (still) works:
This give a row 10 pixels high with a cell 100 pixels wide.
Warning: in future releases these unofficial parameters might not work anymore.

Thanks Marjin. I found out about CELLSPACING and CELLPADDING from Old Hairy, and I've used them.
