Just another number

Hi. I think this piece is good. You discuss the reasons for, and the resulting consequences, of deforestation well. I guess the difficult thing with writing a piece on this topic is that often people know a lot about the problems of deforestation but choose to ignore them.Maybe it would be useful to add some thing to target these people in the last section. I would be interested to know of any organisations that hold rallies to bring the problem of deforestation into the forefront?smiley - ok

STRANGELYSTRANGE

It is a very interesting piece, relevant to today, particularly to America ''caring'' for the world, unless it affects their business profits of course.
although not an expert, I believe this explains why global warming happens a little more.....Molecules of carbon dioxide are larger and heavier than the molecules of oxygen and nitrogen in clean air,
Relative molecular mass carbon dioxide=44
Relative molecular mass oxygen=32
Relative molecular mass nitrogen=28
In other words, the heat bouncing of the earth from the sun, can't get through the increased carbon dioxide so easily, and gets stuck in the earth's atmosphere, instead of bouncing back into space..... you don't need to put this in your entry, it just explained it more clearly to me personally.
