A Conversation for Two more poems

I read these a couple of times but I got a sense of both hope and despair from both of them. The second verse of Future Love, particularly the last two lines, seemed very sad. An expectation of constant searching without success, only released by death. I did like the positive ending though and the penultimate line has a great rhythm. In Butterfly the first verse conjoured a picture of those pinned butterfly collections, a kind of macabre beauty, streched on a lattice.
But then, maybe its just me Keep writing.

I have to agree but that is the whole point of poetry, depending on your mood you can see different things in the words. I know I can look back at the old breaking up ones of mine a realise how much I have moved on, for example, so through all the emmotional turmoil I can see hope.
BTW Have you checked out my requim to a Blue Bic Disposible Pen in the Poet's Nook at the Aroma Cafe yet?

Thankyou for reading....
I wrote them both in a spectacularly good mood...
Even if they do seem despairing.

J, I'm glad you were in a good mood, its the best type. Extremes of mood seem to be the best for producing poetry. BTW DD, I check out the requiem, very touching

I liked the Requiem too, DD...
And after having seen all the strange things in the first verse of FL I had to write them down...
