Hey anyone want to boycott the new Star Wars DVD, on the basis that Lucas has ruined the series for his own commerical gain? I personally hate most of the changes that occured in the special edition, and don't want to "reward" Lucas by buying the DVD.

I don't see why not, but since I wasn't planning on buying it anyway, it would be relatively pointless.

You can boycott for moral support for the rest of us, who are actually cancelling/not making purchases we were (I cancelled my Amazon order).

Pah, Amazon! I ordered a whole load of DVDs from them and after two packages going missing, and one package ariving damaged, and the replacement going missing and the replacement for the replacement showing up late, I finaly got the last package today, exactly one month after I placed the order (It serves me right for odering them on Poets the 13th). It's them that we should be boycotting!!
