Actually, re-reading this, it's really boring, isn't it?
Maybe it's best only to write about things in a detached, observational way...
Oh well, back to the drawing board

Actually, I rather enjoyed it. Maybe it's an A. Dent sort of thing, really.

Six months on, it doesn't seem quite so bad - I guess it's a natural progression: you write it and think it's brilliant; reread a week later and see all its faults; then once you've forgotten about it, it seems like someone else's work and you're not so judgmental, you can accept it.
In fact I think I might rewrite some of the more turgid parts and put it up for adoption - sorry, peer review.
Thanks for the support, Pi!

Glad to be of service. (Now I just have to top that brilliant name... Global Village Idiot...)

Okay, I've smartened it up a little. Let's run it up the flagpole and see if the cat laps it up.

TheOkapi - Sensitive Scout...So Do It PROPERLY! Posted Sep 30, 2000
I'm of an age and location that I remeber all those marvellous things that these two wrote...although the latter series are an unknown quantity - 'Mulberry' etc. But I really enjoyed reading about them and had a couple of 'well-I-never-knew-that!' moments - which was nice.
Good entry. Watch this space, I reckon!
