Explanation downloading (ie I'm thinking). Right, I absorb phrases from TV and use them in home speech and writing on web pages etc. I don't use them in school for fear of sounding mental or suchlike. K?

never heard it on tv either but use it if it comes naturally to you, have no fear of sounding mental, i don't and i don't think it's done me any lasting damage, of course, when you are actually mental... smiley - smiley
