A Conversation for measurement

So that puts you in your 30s ?

Not Fragile

I was educated in the UK, but moved to the US a while ago, whenever I go back to the UK I find it increasingly confused. Over here if you talk about anything other than Pounds/Feet/Gallons/Quarts etc then you get extremely strange looks.

One thing I noticed is that you guys pay an awful lot for PETROL, perhaps if it was priced per Gallon, you would never ever buy the stuff again.

The other issue is that Children are only taught the metric system inthe UK, and it must be really confusing for them to come to a country that does not use those measurements - like most of the none European countries ?

What was wrong with feet and inches, or even pounds, shillings and pence for that matter.

Gone to get a pint of ale.....
