kilograms, ounzes, pounds, inches, meters , feet, yards, all units of measurement, although measurement is meeant to be standardised and everyone is meant now to be using the metric units, the old and goodies just don't go away.
my generation is a confused one brought up during the transition between metric and inperial. for to measure some items I use imperial whilst others I am totally conversant in both forms of of measure yet why are we still using miles upon our road systems?
