A Conversation for Tuesday

If you weren't from Canada, and therefore fictional[1], I would say that you were me.
I've been espousing this view on Tuesday for 14 years now. I've always hated Tuesdays, for the very reasons you mention.
I zero'd in on the link for this page in the hope of heaping scorn and vitriol on anything positive said about Tuesday, and now I stand dumbfounded. I bask in the warm glow of your hatred of Tuesdays.
Pereant, inquit, qui ante nos nostra dixerunt.
[Confound those who have said our remarks before us.]
-- Aelius Donatus
I don't know if you said it before me, but you published it before me. I must remember to send a certified copy of all my witty thoughts to the copyright office.

[1] Any American man has heard the story from one of his friends, "I have a girlfriend. You don't know her, she's from Canada." It's almost a part of our national psyche. All fictional girlfriends are from Canada, and they're pretty much the only Canadians you ever hear about, therefore all Canadians are fictional.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
