Good start NPY,

He was known as the fifth Beatle and was the first or one of the first footballers to get involved with the merchandising and endorsed football boots, and sausages ... among other things. Michael Parkinson was one of his biggest supporters and campaigned to have him declared the best player of the century (last century ).

He was also given what was practically a 'state funeral' which not even the great Joey Dunlop managed. I was one of the thousands that lined the streets.

I can get you a photo of the George Best mural if you'd like - or maybe you'd prefer to go with the library on this one.

I'd love to see Geordie Best on the front page.

Don't get too excited! It was just very quiet in here, so I thought I'd bounce it back up. It's always best to post again once you've finished making changes, just so we know you're done.

I'm getting there. Been wiorking a lot, but will check through it today as I'm off. Thread kinda got lost too, but will post again when I've given it an edit.

Got a bit of editring done. Changed the Maradona link as suggested. for pointing that one out.

Will keep checking. Any further tips would be great.

These are both looking very good. Your writing style is nice and easy, and I think you've explained everything very well.

The one major issue I have left is that you should really be calling him 'Best' rather than 'George', unless there is possible confusion with another member of his family. It sounds over-familiar at the moment, and it's always best to keep a little distance between yourself and your subject. The same applies in the other Entry.

Aside from that, I think the Sub-editor would be happy to handle the minor stylistic correction, so I would say this is ready.
