Sorry if I sent you on a dive bomb to insecurity DE, I'm probably the most lateral thinker I know almost anyone can say something and I can chuck in a random cross reference quoate totally unrelated to the conversation. It freaks most people out but around here I seem to fit in.

As J says you are important being you so don't sulk sulk back into the anonymoty that being old R ***** you see i can't even remember.

LOL

I sometimes think laterally too, I'm often a mine of pointless trivia. That one kind of caught me on the hop though.

I won't sulk then. See happy face --> smiley - bigeyes

(It was R97644, but then I was around it longer than you smiley - winkeye)

Ususally I try to stifle saying out any lateral thinking like that that I come up with, because no one gets what I'm on about, and I can't explain well.

I'm exhausted, its always tiring reading fora where DE and J get chatting but since I'm here you'll notice I can't help being curious smiley - smiley No surprise to see DD around either.

Poems: Liked both of them.
First one is easy to interpret as lost boyfriend but once the subject is known I think it even better, juxtaposition between father/boyfriend.
Second one, hmm, think I need to read it again.

I seem to recall teenage/early twenties angst as an excellent source of poetic inspiration. I think if you do get them published to the wider community they will strike a chord for many. I seem to recall an (almost) girlfriend and I exchanged a number of poems whilst trying to work out whether we should go out together or not. Probably been burnt by now *hopefully*

Thanks for reading my poems, BSsmiley - smiley
I'm very glad you liked them.
Do tell me your opinions of the second one if you re-read it...
Don't hope your poems have been burned. I'm sure its a bad thing to do...
