My best friend, Thomas Stipicevich, and I listened to all kinds of music growing up, and one that jumps back into my memory after looking at these entries is from "Every Breath You Take," by the Police.
The line, as we heard it, was "I'm a pool-hall ace with every step you take."
The actual line was "How my poor heart aches with every step you take."
It's more fun our way, I think.
